Mission Statement

The Center for Mission is charged with promoting and coordinating the global mission outreach of the Archdiocese of St. Paul and Minneapolis. Our mission is to build bridges of cooperation and communion between the Archdiocese and the global mission of Jesus Christ.

Pontifical Mission Societies

The organization's objective is to foster a universal missionary spirit among all the faithful and to gather spiritual and material support for the 1100 plus mission dioceses around the world.

Mission Education

We provide mission education opportunities in Catholic parishes and schools so that children and adults may deepen their formation as witnesses to Christ.

Global Solidarity

We serve as a primary contact resource for facilitating Archdiocesan and parish partnerships and short-term immersion experiences.

Mission Vocations

We assist those discerning missionary service, we stay connected to Archdiocesan missioners abroad and we welcome the gifts of returned missioners.

Global Outreach

We serve as a resource for Catholic Relief Services and the Migrants and Refugees.

The overall goal of the Center for Mission is to engage as many members of the Archdiocese as possible in the worldwide mission of Jesus Christ.
