Diocesan partnerships

The Center for Mission has fostered global solidarity partnerships with communities in other countries in an effort to offer experiences of communion and cooperation. These relationships involve mutual visits and long-term sharing that enables the host and visiting communities to discover the deeper meaning of solidarity. Such a relationship has been fostered with the Diocese of Kitui, Kenya and exists in the Diocese of Ciudad Guayana, Venezuela.

“Mutual partnership is a model of mission that recognizes that all baptized Catholics are called to participate in God’s mission of love, justice and reconciliation.”
Mickey Friesen
