Our mission is to help people know, love and serve God locally and globally.

The Church is missionary by nature. People of all ages in the Church seeking to understand their baptismal call to mission will benefit from opportunities to deepen their faith and missionary vocation. Some of our education opportunities include:

Monthly Mission Intentions - Every month, a new teaching tool is available that reflects the Holy Father's mission themes. Students experience how each mission theme relates to a different area of the world. Also, each month a portion of the intentions reflect education religious standards as set by the archdiocese. These are posted for each month in the prior month on the Download section of this site.

Now Holy Buckets are available for classrooms so students can opt for ways to animate mission through prayer, service or donations.

If you are interested in receiving a Holy Bucket, contact Eric Simon at simone@archspm.org.

Most Innovative Award

Maureen Peter, Paula Cameron

3rd Grades, St. Peter's School

Inspired by the February Mission Intention and disabled artist Doug Landis, Maureen and Paula wanted the students to experience the "challenges facing many people" suffering from disabilities. The third graders submitted entries drawn with only a pencil in their mouths, similar to how Doug Landis sketches. Picture 1, Picture 2.
