Our mission is to help people know, love and serve God locally and globally.
The Church is missionary by nature. People of all ages in the Church seeking to understand their baptismal call to mission will benefit from opportunities to deepen their faith and missionary vocation. A fun and easy way for children to understand what the “call to mission” and "love of neighbor" means may be discovered by following the Wombat. (After viewing click on Back Button to return to this page.) Some of our education opportunities include: Mission Presentations – Returned and current missioners serving overseas present their experiences at parish and school programs. Short-Term Mission Immersions for Catholic Leaders – Trips to visit the Church in mission in other countries help participants expand their understanding of the churches universal ministry. Mission Education Resources – The Center for Mission maintains a library of video and book resources and mission publications inlcuding mission curriculums for schools and religious education programs. Experiential Learning – Experiences of the Church in mission through participation in service programs, sponsorship and sacrificial giving.
