Missionary Cooperation Plan The Missionary Cooperation Plan (MCP) was conceived in the 1930's in the United States as an organized way to help mission-sending societies solicit funds for their mission efforts and to give them the opportunity to appeal for vocations to their religious communities. The MCP offers the opportunity for mission organizations to apply for mission appeals in the archdiocese. The Center for Mission director receives these applications, chooses the participants, assigns three or four parishes, collects and disperses the funds received. APPLICATIONS for 2012 are no longer being accepted. 2013 applications will be available January 2012: - Or - Mission organizations may contact the Center for Mission if you have questions at:missions@archspm.org All applications MUST BE RECEIVED by December 1st. Notifications of assignments go out in January and February. |
